Job description

The Managed Implementation Consultant is responsible for supporting client implementations with a strong focus on data migration, validation, and test payroll execution. This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Data Conversion, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes and identify opportunities for additional services. The consultant plays a key role in onboarding client data, driving projects to completion, and ensuring go-live dates are met., The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed.   • Assist with client implementations with a focus on data migration, validation, and test payroll execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for additional Managed Implementation Services (MIS) based on client needs.
  • Drive projects to completion, ensuring go-live dates are met.
  • Play a key role in onboarding client data during the implementation process.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Some travel up to 10% required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Customer Service or Customer interfacing role
  • 2+ years in HCM consultation or benefits / payroll / HR
  • Prior Paylocity system knowledge required
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
  • Proficiency in Paylocity tools and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
  • Strong organizational, time management skills, and excellent customer service
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • A solid understanding of payroll compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and client-facing communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resourcefulness: Utilize your problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles and find creative solutions that fulfil project needs and client expectations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

Benefits & conditions

The pay for this position is $25hr-30/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
