Application Engineer - Automated System MFG

• Create quotes, budgets, layouts, and supporting documentation that clearly define proposed systems for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to refine concepts, validate budgets, and support the proposal review process.
• Present technical solutions to customers, support the sales cycle, and release awarded projects into operations.
• Follow projects through build and installation phases, assisting with modification quotes and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
• Utilize SolidWorks/AutoCAD to model concepts and support design accuracy, costing, and feasibility.
• Manage multiple opportunities at once, balancing estimating, project coordination, and communication with internal teams and customers.

• 3-5 years of automation, mechanical, or mechatronics design experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Background in custom machinery, capital equipment, or factory automation.
• Comfortable with budgeting, estimating, and supporting project planning.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Team-oriented and adaptable, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Able to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Wheeling, Illinois Permanent USD90,000 - USD110,000 per year View Job Description, * Base salary targeted at 90-100k, with flexibility up to 110k for extensive experience
