Job description
- Lead network architecture, design, testing, and implementation for a large complex, high profile, event-based network.
- Work across a large team of implementation and deployment engineers to ensure that designs are accurate, documented properly, and fully tested prior to deployment.
- Work as part of the network operations center following deployment during key events to manage tickets, escalations, and changes.
- Work with project managers and project leadership to communicate status and updates in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate with other technology towers for testing and deployment including teams focused on security, ISE, DHCP, Network Monitoring, and field ops.
Requirements

Expert knowledge of Cisco route/switch(9300, 9500, 9800) for both core and access devices including BGP, VRF design, VLAN design, QoS, etc.

Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall networking, capabilities, and design criteria.

Working knowledge of Multicast, DDoS products and configurations, ISE, and DNS/DHCP.

Working knowledge of deploying within AWS and AZURE cloud environments.

Expert collaboration and communication skills, working well in a complex and dynamic environment.

Maintain accurate, detailed, network documentation.

Travel, primarily to east coast locations (25% 50%).

Prior experience in event-based networks.
Ideal candidate will have
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications from Cisco including CCIEs would be preferred. Cloud or Palo Alto certifications would be good.

Pay Range*: $130-$135 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
