IAM Advisor

We are looking for an experienced IAM Advisor to provide strategic guidance on identity management solutions for a contract position based remotely in the U.S. This role focuses on assessing current architecture and advising on a potential transition from Okta to Microsoft Entra, with an emphasis on risk mitigation and best practices. As a purely advisory role, this position does not involve hands-on technical implementation., * Analyze the organization's current identity architecture and roadmap to identify strengths, weaknesses, and risks.

• Provide expert advice on transitioning identity services from Okta to Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
• Develop strategic recommendations for migration sequencing, approach, and risk management.
• Assess security and identity-related risks associated with the proposed transition and provide actionable solutions.
• Deliver insights grounded in industry best practices to enhance the organization's identity management strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure recommendations align with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Offer advisory input on architecture standards and enterprise-level identity solutions.
• Lead discussions on strategic roadmaps for IAM processes and tools.
• Share expertise in Group Policy Objects (GPO), server virtualization, and enterprise storage as it pertains to IAM solutions.

Do you have experience in Okta?, * Minimum of 7 years of experience in identity and access management strategy and architecture.

• Proven expertise in both Okta and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) platforms.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations.
• Background in advisory or consulting roles, with a focus on IAM solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and enterprise storage systems.
• Familiarity with architecture standards and strategic roadmaps for IAM.
• Experience with server virtualization and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and present findings.
