Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description: This team serves as the enterprise infrastructure architecture and engineering function within IT. The team is responsible for everything from the physical data-center foundation-network, compute, and storage-to the platforms that run on top of it, such as VMware and OpenShift. The team currently does not operate an OpenStack footprint, they anticipate adopting a fully open-source platform in the future to offload core operational workloads to technologies like Apache CloudStack or an OpenStack variant. The team will be responsible for transitioning their current on-prem cloud environment to a new provider (Red Hat Open Shift), including designing the underlying infrastructure plan that supports this shift. This person will be tasked with ensuring the data center is built, maintained, and optimized to support OpenShift and the broader enterprise ecosystem.

• Vmware, Red Hat OpenShift
• Linux OS experience
• Knowledge of OpenSource architecture/environments
