Job description
- Experience understanding current state and desired future architecture state, and to determine incremental roadmap
- Ability to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architecture
- Experience with source to target mappings and determining needed logic
- Ability to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architecture
- Capable of analyzing legacy solutions for migration to newer technologies
- Provides technical direction for the design of complex and large scale data analytics solutions to effectively meet business needs.
- Contributes to the solution design of projects that address business needs, including the analysis of multiple solution options
- Partners with the Enterprise Architecture team on the creation of the conceptual architecture that addresses the high level business requirements
- Participates in Solution Architecture review for applicable projects
- Authors complex level technical designs that define how the functional requirements will be technically enabled
- Provides guidance to an extended project team related to the solution architecture and technical design. Assists and advises project teams in the configuration, testing, implementation and support of secure technical solutions
- Provides sizing and detailed estimates for complex new project requests
- Consults on design approaches to solving visible and complex business problems
- May mentor other junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 5+ year of engineering experience in a relevant technical domain
- 5+ year of developing ETL solutions using Talend
- Data modeling experience required
- 5+ Erwin specific modeling experience
- Agile team experience
- Experience working with security and enterprise teams for new patterns
- DevOps deployment knowledge
- Knowledge and experience in Snowflake, Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Talend, PowerBI
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and best practices ETL concepts and best practices
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements
- Experience delivering Features through the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
