Leidos is seeking experienced technical Program Security Specialist for our client's operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Virginia area. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to management and analysis of security policy and operations.

IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility. Responsible for entire projects or processes spanning multiple professional areas.

Job Summary: Security

Develop, implement, and maintain technical security programs. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide recommendations on physical and technical security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Draft requirements and implementation guidance.
  • Assess security programs to identify and recommend ways to address gaps.
  • Research, draft issue papers and terms of reference documents.
  • Develop strategies, provide key analysis and decision support; perform strategic planning, draft presentations, and prepare implementation plans.
  • Prepare for technical working groups and interagency forums and assist in developing, maintaining, and tracking program plans and processes for USG initiatives, incorporating inputs from all working groups.
  • Help conduct in-depth assessments of new technologies and services, as they apply to requirements, in support of decision-making that impacts the production and dissemination of sensitive information/products to USG customers.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • Requires a BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and technical expertise with required SAP, CAP, and SCI security procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience with information, industrial, technical, and physical security principles, and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to resolve problems and develop guidance documentation across a variety of circumstances and environments.
  • Experience leading and supporting working groups across multiple substantive topics with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the applicable IC and DoD Directives.

Desired Requirements:

  • Experience in IC or DoD, including experience as CAP or SAP control officer.
  • CAP/SAP experiences, intel collection, or analytic expertise.
