Job description

In this role, the ISSO will be responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination of all Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and artifacts sitting onsite in Washington, DC or Reston, VA. This includes collecting, analyzing, and maintaining security data from multiple sources to support authorization and continuous monitoring activities. The ISSO will work extensively with vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and Prisma to review scan results, identify risks, and support remediation efforts., As an ISO 9001:2015 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised small business, Edgesource specializes in providing a variety of technical solutions to include software development, database services, enterprise networking, data center virtualization, and management support. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI CI Poly
  • Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, including system categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages in eMASS or equivalent tools.
  • Conduct security control assessments, vulnerability reviews, and risk analyses in coordination with system owners and cybersecurity teams.
  • Track and remediate vulnerabilities identified through ACAS, SCAP, STIGs, and other security scanning tools.
  • 3-5 years of overall ISSO experience
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Bachelor's Degree
