In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, engineers, CAD teams, and clients to turn ideas into well-designed, real-world systems. You'll play a key part in shaping designs that not only meet security requirements, but also fit seamlessly into the environment they're built for., * Creating and maintaining design templates, drawings, and documentation
- Designing physical security systems and selecting the right products for each project
- Working with different teams to support consistent design standards and best practices
- Joining meetings with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to refine designs
- Keeping design records, logs, and project information up to date
- Supporting project timelines and coordinating with global teams
- Producing and reviewing design packages (drawings, bills of materials, diagrams, etc.)
- Communicating clearly with stakeholders throughout each stage of a project
- Tracking your time across projects to support planning and delivery
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, We're looking for a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our team and help deliver smart, practical security solutions for a wide range of clients., * Experience working with low-voltage systems such as physical security, life safety, or network infrastructure
- A background in design engineering, ideally working with clients, architects, and contractors
- Confidence producing full design packages from concept through to delivery
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D); Revit is a bonus but not essential
- A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Design Management, or similar experience
- Around 3-7 years' experience in a similar role (e.g. security integrator or consultancy)
- Familiarity with enterprise security platforms (such as Lenel S2, CCure, Genetec, Milestone, AXIS, HID, Mercury, Assa Abloy, Allegion, or similar)
