Job description
- Install EMT/ENT/PVC conduit pathways, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling in commercial buildings and multi-dwelling units (MDUs).
- Dress, route, and terminate fiber optic and low voltage data cabling into data closets, lock boxes, and work areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on fiber-optic and low voltage pathways.
- Test and document light levels and cable performance using industry-standard tools.
- Remove abandoned conduit pathways as needed.
- Install structured cabling systems including backbone fiber, horizontal cabling, and associated spaces.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and test results using mobile and computer applications.
- Travel to assist outside market BSCT teams and support projects across multiple states. (Very Rare and based on Volunteers if able)
- Work in various environments including outdoors, confined spaces, and at heights.Lift and carry up to 80 pounds safely.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to learn and grasp new concepts on the job
- Clean MVR to drive ALLO Communications vehiclesAbility to work overtime on a voluntary basis
COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Bring a professional attitude, be self-motivated, and have a goal-oriented work ethic.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to travel outside of home market for extended periods of time based on project and business needs.
- Valid driver license and good MVR driving record to drive company vehicles.
- Ability to learn to read site survey notes, blueprints, follow directions, and have good time management skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Display prompt attendance to work and scheduled job sites.
- Travel responsibilities will mainly be day travel.
