This role is responsible for supporting and improving enterprise information security policies, practices, and standards within a highly regulated financial services environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, knowledge of information security and network systems, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for business partners. This role partners with internal teams and vendors to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data, while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements., * Support and continuously improve enterprise information security policies, practices, and standards
  • Participate in operational activities to enforce appropriate access and protection of systems and data
  • Validate compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with internal support teams and vendors to resolve security issues or implement new technologies
  • Monitor assigned systems and environments using standard technology tools; detect and escalate anomalies or security issues
  • Assist with security assurance testing, risk assessments, and vulnerability reviews
  • Monitor, assess, and document vendor compliance with organizational security requirements
  • Prepare status reports and dashboards related to security, vendor assessments, and risk management
  • Manage and prioritize ad-hoc reporting requests, scorecards, and departmental reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of general IT experience (networking, end-user computing, server administration, email administration, or related fields)
  • Working knowledge of information security and network/system access technologies
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated, compliance-focused industries
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms

The base hourly range for this contract position is $30-$60 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
