Job description

  • Target Teams: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI Applications, Fusion Security, or Data Center Delivery Engineering, * Development Life Cycle: End-to-end ownership of software components, from design to deployment and operation.
  • Automation: Building automation for provisioning, scaling, and database maintenance.
  • Production Support: Debugging, Troubleshooting, and performance tuning of reports and applications.
  • Collaboration: Working with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience Needed: 3-5+ years of software engineering or related experience
  1. Specific Technical Skills
  • Oracle Fusion Applications & Reports:
  • Development: Customizing modules using common Oracle frameworks.
  • Reporting: Expertise in BI Publisher, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), FRS (Financial Reporting Studio), and Smart View.
  • Integration: Building integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, REST/SOAP web services
  • Database (DBA/Developer) Tasks:
  • SQL/PLSQL: Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimization of queries, dashboards, and reports.
  • Database Admin: Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and database patching/cloning.
  • OCI Experience (Deployment & Infra):
  • Deployment: Experience deploying apps/databases in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Containerization & IaC: Familiarity with Kubernetes (OKE), Docker, and Terraform.
  • DevOps: Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
  • Languages: Strong Java, Python, Go, or C++ skills., * Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Benefits & conditions

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
