Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Product Manager to serve as the Enterprise Product Check Items Processing Lead. In this critical individual contributor role, you will be the definitive product owner, setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for all core check processing capabilities. You will leverage payment system domain expertise to drive modernization, efficiency, and compliance. This role requires exceptional analytical rigor and the ability to influence cross-functional teams-including engineering, operations, risk/compliance, data science, data strategy and business partners across lines of business-without direct management authority. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable check processing solutions that enhance the customer and operational experience while minimizing fraud and cost., In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration, * Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
