Job description
Inventory, Financial Integration, and Executive IBP alignment. This role is the architect,
conductor, and strategic leader of the IBP ecosystem, responsible for defining and
governing the global IBP operating model, advancing planning maturity, and ensuring a
fully synchronized, financially aligned 'One Plan' that enables reliable product supply,
operational excellence, and enterprise decision-making.
The Global Head leads multiple global departments-including the E2E IBP Integration
function, Global Demand Planning, and Global Supply Planning-and directs all aspects of
IBP governance, scenario integration, planning standards, data readiness, systems
enablement, performance management, and enterprise IBP transformation.
The role
establishes and implements operational plans and strategies with 1-3-year business impact,
setting global policy, defining cross-functional roles and responsibilities, and shaping the
strategic direction of CSL's planning capability.
This executive leader routinely presents to the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT),
Executive IBP, Global Operations Leadership Team, and other senior forums-driving
executive alignment on scenarios, trade-offs, risks, and enterprise-wide planning outcomes.
The role tackles highly complex, cross-functional, and ambiguous planning challenges that
require conceptualizing new systems, frameworks, governance constructs, analytics, and
organizational models. As the owner of the IBP transformation program, this role leads
multi-year planning process modernization, digital enablement efforts (in partnership with
BPO and Digital/IT), maturity advancement, and enterprise capability-building.

- Directly leads: E2E IBP Integration Lead, Global Demand Planning, Global Supply
Planning
- Indirectly leads cross-functional IBP stakeholders across Commercial, Finance,
Digital/IT, Manufacturing/Tech Ops, Quality, Regulatory, Plasma, CMO, and Logistics
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1 Define and own the global IBP process design, governance, and operating standards across all IBP steps.
2 Lead and develop global Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and E2E IBP Integration teams. Establish operating plans, performance expectations, and annual planning cycles for all IBP departments.
3 Lead Executive IBP preparation and facilitate alignment on cross-functional scenarios, trade-offs, risks, and enterprise decisions. Present regularly to SCLT, Global Operations and other executive forums.
4 Direct the integration of risk-balanced, financially aligned, cross-functional scenarios for Demand/Supply Review and Executive IBP. Ensure alignment to commercial strategy, operational constraints, financial guidance, and product/market priorities.
5 Lead modernization of planning processes, governance routines, cross-functional planning behaviors, and operating mechanisms. Own the global IBP transformation program, roadmap, and maturity model.
6 Ensure system capabilities support scenario planning, data readiness, integration, and end-to-end visibility by partnering with BPO and Digital/IT to shape the long-term IBP technology strategy
7 Align executive leaders and influence adoption of IBP standards, scenario readiness expectations, and governance requirements.
8 Develop and implement IBP operational plans to drive global planning performance, system adoption, data quality, and process adherence through short- and mid-term plans.
9 Solve multi-dimensional, undefined planning challenges across data, systems, org structure, capacity, supply-demand balance, and financial alignment.
10 Conceptualize new process frameworks, governance models, scenario architectures, and analytical constructs.
11 Oversee IBP performance metrics (maturity, scenario readiness, adherence, cycle health, data quality). Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions across enterprise teams.
12 Build a world-class IBP organization with strong succession pipelines via mentorship and development.
13 Other duties as reasonably assigned from time-to-time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sciences, Business, or related field. Master's degree strongly preferred (MBA or Supply Chain/Operations-focused).
- Professional certifications expected: APICS CPIM/CSCP, IBF, or equivalent.
Experience
- 15+ years in global supply chain, operations, or IBP/E2E planning roles, with leadership of large, complex, cross-functional initiatives. · Demonstrated leadership of multiple departments and leaders in a global network (Directors/Managers). · Deep expertise in IBP/S&OP process design, governance, and cross-functional alignment. · Strong executive communication; proven experience influencing senior leadership. · Expert knowledge of advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, RapidResponse) and planning analytics. · Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise transformation and multi-year strategic programs.
