Job description
We are seeking a high-performing Finance Transformation Specialist to lead program and change management of a new billing system and support development of reports, analytics and AI use cases related to Billing and Revenue.
This role is central to the CFO's multi-year transformation agenda, with a strong pipeline of projects over the next 3-5 years. While system-specific knowledge is not required, the ideal candidate will bring a CPA background, Big Four or equivalent transformation experience, experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, and a track record of detailed project planning and execution.
This is a high-visibility role working across Billing, Finance, Technology and the business, with frequent exposure to senior leadership.
Job Responsibilities

Lead program management, back testing, change management and go-live readiness

Own & manage Jira and Confluence ensuring accuracy of tickets, timeline and documentation

Lead development of our new reporting & analytics capabilities including use of AI

Design and manage mock migrations, data validations, and test cycles (e.g., UAT, cutover dry runs).

Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, mapping issues, and logic gaps in coordination with finance, legal, and technology stakeholders

Oversee offshore resources under the broader transformation team to support execution and testing.

Ensure proper governance, documentation, and control standards throughout project phases.

Identify and communicate how AI-enabled capabilities can improve finance operations, efficiency, and compliance.

Support change management, training, and knowledge transfer activities as the applications move into adoption.

Participate in CFO rotation program opportunities to broaden organizational knowledge and career growth.
Requirements

Experience leading or coordinating teams in finance system implementations or complex projects.

Track record of delivering in high-pressure, complex finance transformation environments.

Demonstrated ability to reconcile legacy financial systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Strong Excel skills; experience with SQL, Alteryx, or other data tools is an advantage.

Strong analytical skills and prior experience with data visualization tools

Experience using AI in day to day work of Finance

Outstanding problem-solving ability - someone who anticipates issues, finds workarounds, and goes beyond the brief to deliver complete, accurate solutions.

Excellent documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and external partners.
Desirable:

Accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent).

Prior involvement in contract digitisation or billing configuration.

Hands-on expertise in Zuora or similar cloud-based billing systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $105,000 to $235,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
