Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows using Azure-native services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, etc.).
Develop high-performance data solutions with strong Python expertise and Spark (PySpark) for batch and streaming workloads.
Architect and maintain enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse platforms that power analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
Leverage Claude Code (Anthropic's AI coding assistant) daily to accelerate development, generate clean code, debug pipelines, and prototype solutions faster.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, governed data products.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve pipeline performance, cost, and reliability.

6+ years of hands-on experience as an Azure Data Engineer (or equivalent).
Expert-level Python skills with production experience building data pipelines.
Deep expertise in Spark / PySpark for large-scale data processing.
Strong background in ETL/ELT design patterns and modern data architectures (medallion, lakehouse, etc.).
Proven experience designing and maintaining data warehouses on Azure or similar cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience using Claude Code (Anthropic) for coding, pipeline generation, and development acceleration - this is a core requirement.
Solid understanding of Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Storage, etc.).
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and governance best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) data integration.
Hands-on work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, or hybrid cloud data platforms.
