Team Collaboration: Engage actively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, partnering with patients and their guardians to create a supportive environment. Therapeutic Assessment and Planning: Assess, plan, and implement tailored psychotherapeutic services for a diverse range of patients, including children and adolescents, facing mental health challenges. Diverse Therapy Services: Offer a comprehensive suite of therapy services, including individual and family psychotherapy, as well as facilitating process groups that foster growth and healing. Empowerment and Growth: Strive to enhance the functioning of patients and their families, equipping them for the next chapter in their mental health journey. Person-Centered Care: Be oriented and educated in providing person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care to all patients. Qualifications
Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related therapeutic field. Independent licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) in the state of Minnesota required.

Non-independently licensed candidate will be considered at an Associate level therapist. That role requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related therapeutic field. If your degree is in a closely related field and you are pursuing an LPCC, you must demonstrate that your education meets the coursework requirements of the license, either through your own comparison or an unofficial review with the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.

Licensure: Candidates must be licensed or actively pursuing clinical licensure in the state of Minnesota. This includes receiving clinical supervision and counting clinical supervision hours.

Two years of experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred

Must have knowledge of DSM-IV criteria

Skill in interviewing and assessment

Display a professional attitude in all aspects of his/her performance

Skills to communicate clearly and effectively with Clinical Directors and professionals within other organizations

Computer skills using Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook

Must have reliable transportation and telephone

Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks

Skills to communicate well both verbally and in writing

Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle volatile and potentially emergency situations

Ability to make effective decisions while in stressful situations and circumstances

After training, be able to manage disruptive and explosive patients.

Associate level license in State of Minnesota (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) preferred.
Benefits & conditions
Pay range for the Independently licensed position is $80,000 to $102,000 annually and for the Associate level therapist it is $29 to $33 depending on education, licensure, and experience.
