Job description
We are seeking a Kubernetes Container Platform Engineer (PaaS & CaaS) to join our engineering team. This role focuses on Kubernetes platforms, infrastructure-as-code automation, and enabling self-service orchestration across enterprise environments.
You will be responsible for platform administration, onboarding, upgrades, and global standardization of container services. The role supports 20,000+ developers and DevOps teams, working within a small, agile group of highly skilled architects and engineers., * Design, implement, and operate container services platforms with CI/CD integration.
- Automate processes to improve efficiency and eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
- Diagnose, replicate, and resolve technical issues on PaaS and CaaS platforms.
- Develop reusable, maintainable software with a consumer-first mindset.
- Manage support requests, escalate unresolved issues, and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Document solutions and contribute to knowledgebase articles.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code APIs (Swagger).
- Solid understanding of virtualization, hypervisors, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with identity, access, and certificate management.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, Fluentd/Fluentbit, PrometheGrafana, Wavefront, APPD).
- Knowledge of .NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Experience with policy engines (Open Policy Agent or similar)., * Bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience OR advanced degree + 4 years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years building and maintaining container platforms (PAS/TAS, PKS/TKGI, OpenShift).
- Hands-on Kubernetes deployment experience on public cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba).
- Strong background in UNIX/Linux and Windows administration.
- Experience with configuration management across large-scale infrastructures.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting).
- Familiarity with distributed systems and VMware virtualization.
- CI/CD tools (Concourse, Salt, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.).
- Version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Agile methodology experience.
- Bonus: NSX, NSX-T, Panorama, vSphere7 with TKG.
- DevOps background and strong communication skills.
- On-call support experience.
