We are assisting an innovative high-quality engine manufacturer as they transition into their new manufacturing site with hiring an IT site manager. Our client is building a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility focused on power generation systems for AI- driven data centers and sustainable energy applications.
As IT Site Manager, you'll bridge IT and the business, driving digital transformation and implementing innovative solutions that directly impact operations, efficiency, and growth. This role requires deep knowledge in IT and business processes, strong project management skills, and experience in manufacturing, industrial, or power generation environments. - Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into projects or change requests
- Oversee IT delivery for the site, coordinating with internal and external IT teams
- Develop pre-project solutions and cost-benefit analyses
- Manage IT budget, monitor spend, and ensure alignment with plant and business targets
- Lead SLA negotiations and maintain strong service relationships
- Report on project status, IT performance, and key metrics to business stakeholders
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement
- Support other duties as needed to ensure seamless IT operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, data center, or automotive environments
- Strong business analytical skills; SAP ERP experience preferred
- Experience in digital manufacturing technologies (IoT, I4.0, RPA) is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong systems analysis, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Familiarity with ITIL, Scrum, and Agile methodologies preferred
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization, from technical teams to senior management
