Job description
The organization seeks a Sr. Software Developer II to deliver secure and reliable software for mission-critical federal systems. The role focuses on building and modernizing enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and modern front-end frameworks while adhering to strict security and operational standards. The developer will troubleshoot production issues, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and communicate decisions to stakeholders to maintain customer trust. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with current or prior SCI access., Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner. -Collaborate within a high-performing team to deliver technical solutions for mission-critical federal systems. -Support O&M and design, develop, and modernize custom enterprise applications. -Apply secure coding practices across all phases of development. -Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. -Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. -Communicate technical decisions and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. -Establish and maintain customer trust through technical expertise and professionalism. -Use creativity and innovation to deliver solutions that meet customer and mission needs.
Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance with current or previously held SCI access. -7+ years of professional software development experience building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications in mission-critical environments. -Expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET including WebForms, MVC, and REST APIs. -Front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Angular and/or React. -Back-end experience with database development and administration including SQL Server and T-SQL. -Experience with source code management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker. -Strong understanding of Windows Server, PowerShell scripting, IIS hosting, Kerberos, and OIDC authentication. -Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a dynamic, mission-critical environment., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. -Certification meeting DoD 8140 such as Security+. -Azure Developer Associate certification or AWS Developer Associate certification, or recent and relevant software development certification.
