A Design Engineer role is open with our client in Tulsa, OK. In this role you will be responsible for developing and refining 3D models and drawings for acrylic, multi-ply, bonded structures that must meet strict aerospace performance, safety, and certification requirements. This role is primarily focused on hands-on CAD design of cabin and cockpit window systems, working in a highly collaborative IPT environment., Client is seeking a Design Engineer to support aircraft transparency programs within their division.

- The Design Engineer will develop and refine 3D models and drawings for acrylic, multi-ply, bonded structures that must meet strict aerospace performance, safety, and certification requirements.
- The role involves close interaction with Project Engineers, Stress Engineers, Materials & Process, and Manufacturing teams to ensure designs are structurally sound, producible, and compliant.
- Candidates should be comfortable spending the majority of their time designing in CAD, while also participating in design reviews, optimization discussions, and cross-functional meetings.
- Experience in regulated aerospace environments and the ability to iterate designs based on technical feedback are critical.
- Familiarity with transparency systems, bonded structures, and coatings is a strong plus but not required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Productivity software?, To be considered for this role you will have proven experience as a Design Engineer using CATIA V5 or later. Due to the nature of the business, must be a US Citizen., * CATIA V5 (or later) - hands-on design and assembly work
- Engineering drawings and GD&T interpretation
- Microsoft Office (documentation, coordination)
