Job description

Gridiron IT is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Engineer in support of the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. Responsibilities: In this role you will coordinate with the Government and the ServiceNow ITOM Architect to design, implement, and configure ServiceNow Information Technology Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities as selected automated network discovery tool. At first, you will participate in enterprise discovery workshops with Government stakeholders to make key decisions impacting execution of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) system and project and to facilitate any required policy changes. You will then implement, configure, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM with an integration to Axonius. You will also contribute to contract deliverables including test plans, CMDB Solution Strategy, Architecture Plan, and a security assessment.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities.?

  • A strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL.?

  • A proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.?

  • Experience implementing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.

  • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization s business areas.

  • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint

Qualifications:

  • DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Bachelors Degree in applicable field (computer science, engineering, cyber security, etc. ) and 7+ years direct experience.

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities

  • At least one of the following certifications:?

-Certified ServiceNow Administrator? -Certified ServiceNow Developer?

  • Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal

Desired Skills:

  • Axonius Platform experience

  • Asset Management experience

  • An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance

  • JavaScript/AngularJS development experience.?

  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.?

  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification

  • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems

  • Experience working in the Department of Defense

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: 70-85 hourly (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
