Job description

Strategic Program Manager leading complex, cross-functional programs that directly support business objectives and long-term organizational goals of the Adobe Customer Experience Orchestration organization. Responsible for structuring and managing multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring initiatives are coordinated, aligned, and delivering measurable impact across the enterprise.

Self-starting critical thinker who combines strategic clarity with operational rigor, proactively identifying risks, driving alignment, and ensuring accountability across diverse teams and interested parties. This program manager must demonstrate standard Program Management methodology, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and consistency.

What you'll Do

  • Design, structure, and manage 2-4 programs at a time.

  • Translate high-level goals into coordinated program roadmaps, governance models, and measurable outcomes within the Objectives/Key Results ("OKR") framework.

  • Build and maintain a program life cycle based on tangible progress points and deliverables that act as health indicators and allow you to "look around the corner" and identify risks and dependencies on or over the horizon.

  • Drive relentless accountability and prioritization by aligning all program activities to defined picture of success, assigning clear ownership and accountability, and subsequently leading and supporting all participants and owners to deliver expected results.

  • Use data, team feedback, progress tracking, performance indicators, personal experience, and instincts to monitor program health and progress. Identify early signs of slowdown or drift, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions that balance speed, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Confident, articulate, cross-functional collaborator with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to deliver customer-centric results.

  • Inventive problem-solver who can lead and influence with various partners.

  • Possesses strong EQ, meticulous attention to detail, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with individuals of varying levels.

  • Dedicated team member that is casual in tone but serious about impact. Conversations are human. Humor is welcome. Hierarchy does not dominate the room. People can speak plainly and be themselves.

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in program or portfolio management, preferably in complex, cross-functional environments.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to land in a fluid environment and immediately collaborate with SMEs to establish high- to mid-level delivery targets, and build or reshape the roadmap to balance expectations and reality.

  • Experience with Project Management Tools (Workfront, Jira, etc) and virtual collaboration tools (SharePoint, Wiki, Miro, etc); Workfront certification a plus.

  • Certification in project/program management (e.g., Project Management Institute's PMP) a plus.
