Job description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Application Architect to design and oversee the development of cloud-native applications and platform services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and reliable solutions while modernizing legacy systems and implementing advanced cloud patterns. As a technical leader, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality architecture and contribute directly to development and troubleshooting. This is a long-term contract position based in Cleveland, OH., * Design and implement cloud-native architectures tailored to the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Establish and maintain standards for microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems into scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability across enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including platform, data, and integration specialists, to design cohesive systems.
- Enhance observability and operational resilience through advanced performance monitoring tools.
- Provide architecture reviews and technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and improve system analysis.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues.
- Contribute directly to development efforts and perform code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET Core for application development.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure API Management, and Azure storage solutions.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Expertise in API development and REST API design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in cloud architecture.
- Proven track record in modernizing legacy applications and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
