Job description
We are seeking a talented Lead Windows System Administrator to join our infrastructure team. You will play a critical role in managing and advancing Clients Microsoft ecosystem, VMware environments, and Azure cloud services. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our core systems., * Design and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions using Azure IaaS/PaaS and VMware vSphere
- Manage Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, Azure AD, backup, monitoring)
- Oversee VMware infrastructure (vCenter, ESXi hosts, HA/DRS clusters, vSAN)
- Administer enterprise storage platforms and backup solutions (Veeam Suite)
- Automate tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with security and networking teams to enforce compliance
- Mentor junior administrators and contribute to infrastructure roadmaps
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2025)
- Expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365
- Strong background in VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere)
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, Group Policy, RDS
- Experience with Microsoft SQL database infrastructure
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, automation)
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- Familiarity with Veeam Backup & Replication Suite
- Understanding of security best practices, patch management, compliance
- Experience with server hardware (Cisco, HP rack-mounted/blade systems)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (BigFix, Datadog, SolarWinds)
- Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, project management methodologies
