Job description
- Working with NIWC stakeholders, development, and support teams to ensure the platforms are integrated, available, up-to-date, and providing support for comprehensive (both automated and manual) software testing, and supporting Agile best practices
- Provisioning Windows and Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments
- Integrating a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within Windows and Linux environments
- Installing, executing, and troubleshooting containerized applications
- Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Windows and Linux-based environments
- Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks
Requirements
- Focusing on integrating applications in Windows and Linux-based environment, * Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related technical degree
- Minimum of five years of hardware/software integration experience in Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies, VMware vSphere or Red Hat Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM)
- Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, and PowerCLI
- Must currently hold a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification (SSCP or Security+ CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) or be able to obtain within six months
Desired Skills
- Experience with working in an Agile methodology environment
- Experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
- Experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Artifactory) or similar
- Familiarization with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs/CS2) requirements
- Experience with software Containerization (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes, ets.)
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
