Job description

Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract . Leidos is seeking a Systems engineer across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds . This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading , global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness., This individual will be responsible for developing in a scalable cloud-native solutions, and ensuring best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security. This is a hands-on technical role that requires rolling up your sleeves to architect, code, debug, and mentor.

  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate adaptation solutions into the TFDM system, ensuring compatibility and performance.

  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze and interpret system requirements to develop adaptation strategies that meet operational needs.

  • Configuration Management: Manage system configurations and ensure that adaptation changes are accurately documented and implemented.

  • Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of adaptation solutions to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to system adaptation, providing timely support to maintain system integrity.

  • Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of adaptation processes, configurations, and changes for future reference and audits.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance system performance and adaptation processes through innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and eight ( 8 ) years or more of experience; Masters and six (6 ) years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

  • Secret clearance required

  • US citizenship required

  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)

  • Proficiency in system integration, configuration management, and testing methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and system analysis.

  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.

  • Exposure to security scanning, compliance frameworks, or DevSecOps automation.
