We are collaborating with companies in Grandville seeking experienced IT Systems Administrators., * Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage, to ensure 24/7 operational uptime for manufacturing processes.
- Administer and support manufacturing-specific applications such as MES, SCADA, ERP systems, and PLC programming environments.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures for both IT and operational technology (OT) systems to protect production data and intellectual property.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans for all critical manufacturing data and systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for shop floor IT equipment, industrial PCs, and network connectivity issues impacting production.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to optimize the reliability and efficiency of IT services.
- Collaborate with production teams and engineering to understand IT requirements and implement solutions that enhance manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience managing network infrastructure, firewalls, and security protocols in an industrial setting.
- Understanding of IT/OT convergence and support for manufacturing-specific systems (e.g., SCADA, MES).
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance., * Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems like PLCs, SCADA, or MES.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
- Knowledge of manufacturing-specific ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
