Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field is desired
5-7+ years of solid Java development experience
Experience with multi-tier systems and J2EE concepts (EJB, MDB, JMS, Session Beans)
Working knowledge or experience within the Financial Payments industry
Working knowledge or experience with Oracle Database (9i/10g/11g)
Working knowledge and experience with Oracle PL/SQL
Working knowledge or experience with Python
Ability to work independently with limited guidance in a collaborative team environment
Self-starter, with strong organization skills and attention to detail
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
