Job description
We're looking for a motivated Junior Network Technical Project Manager to support network and infrastructure initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with the IT Director on planning, coordinating, and tracking technical projects that keep our facilities running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with foundational networking knowledge who enjoys organizing work, supporting technical teams, and keeping projects on schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Partner daily with the IT Director to prioritize and execute network and IT infrastructure projects
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and task management using Asana
- Coordinate with MSPs, vendors, and manufacturing teams to keep projects moving
- Maintain documentation such as network and site diagrams and project notes
- Support equipment procurement, vendor communication, and service ticket coordination
- Track milestones, follow up on action items, and escalate issues to the IT Director
- Help ensure changes follow internal standards and change-management processes
Requirements
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (switching, routing, wireless, VLANs, firewalls)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills, especially when relaying updates to the IT Director
- Asana experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from senior technical staff
Nice-to-Have
- CompTIA Network+ or similar foundational certifications
- Experience supporting IT or network projects in manufacturing
- Exposure to network hardware, cabling, or troubleshooting
