The Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer addresses the increasing complexity of cloud-integrated architectures by designing resilient, high-performance core systems that support global operations. This role solves the challenge of maintaining maximum uptime while migrating legacy environments into automated, software-defined infrastructures. By bridging the gap between traditional hardware and modern cloud networking, the position ensures that security and connectivity remain seamless and scalable across a distributed enterprise. What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
- Lead the design and deployment of end-to-end network solutions that align with departmental OKRs for scalability and high-availability performance.
- Ensure the reliability and resiliency of enterprise platforms by establishing automated monitoring frameworks that significantly reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
- Drive technical excellence across the infrastructure team through hands-on mentorship and the codification of best practices for data networking initiatives.
- Optimize cloud and on-premise security posture by validating complex configurations and adhering to strict design specifications across Palo Alto and Zscaler environments.
- Leverage AI-driven insights from platforms like Zscaler and Dynatrace to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and automate predictive capacity planning.
Requirements
- Critical experience architecting and automating AWS cloud networking environments using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Python, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Advanced proficiency in managing multi-vendor security and traffic management stacks, including Palo Alto firewalls and F5 BIG-IP active-active topologies.
- Deep technical expertise in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementations, specifically focusing on Zscaler Internet and Private Access architectures.
- The ability to design enterprise-wide infrastructure strategies that integrate continuous process improvement and cross-functional alignment.
- AI Literacy and Application skills to utilize machine learning recommendations for network optimization, threat detection, and automated troubleshooting.
- Strong collaborative leadership and communication skills to navigate complex projects and deliver high-satisfaction outcomes for internal business partners., * Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in medium to large enterprise network environments.
- Required Technical Skills:
- AWS Cloud Networking (VPC PrivateLink, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
- Palo Alto Firewall administration (Panorama, PAN-OS, SSL decryption)
- F5 BIG-IP and Distributed Cloud (Load balancing, DNS, DR/BC)
- Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) configuration and management
- Infrastructure automation (Python, Ansible, Git)
