Are you ready to help organizations navigate their cloud journey with AWS? As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as a technical advisor for a strategic SaaS-provider customer. You will combine deep technical knowledge with business acumen to architect solutions that address complex challenges and drive innovation.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a customer who operates at unprecedented scale. You will leverage your foundational technical knowledge across various domains while diving deep into specific technical areas. With your builder mindset, you'll craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that help customers transform their business through technology., Design and own end-to-end customer solutions, shepherding them through the implementation lifecycle while combining business acumen with technical skills to architect solutions for complex problems.
Drive technical solution discussions with customer teams, diving deeply into details including design choices, best practices, and use cases.
Create and share technical content - such as sample code, blog posts, presentations, and workshops - to educate others and promote best practices.
Build consensus across customer teams by clearly articulating concepts and strategies, and leading resolution of contentious issues.
Identify opportunities to accelerate solution adoption by leveraging reusable assets that can benefit the broader customer community.
A day in the life As a Senior Solutions Architect supporting a strategic customer, you'll begin your day aligning with internal stakeholders on customer priorities before joining customer calls to explore technical architecture and solution options. You'll spend time experimenting with new AWS services to address specific customer challenges and document your findings for broader use. Your afternoons may include architecture sessions where you design solutions for complex workloads, followed by building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility. You'll also create and share best practices with both internal teams and customers through technical content and hands-on sessions.

Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients, * Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
