SAP Commerce Cloud Platform Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Commerce Cloud Platform Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, along with a solid background in backend development, system integrations, and cloud-based architectures.

This role involves leading end-to-end architecture, enhancing platform capabilities, and driving strategic eCommerce initiatives for enterprise clients, particularly within the consumer electronics domain. Key Responsibilities Platform Architecture

• Lead the architecture and design of SAP Commerce Cloud platform solutions
• Develop scalable, high-performance architecture aligned with business goals
• Define platform adoption strategies and long-term eCommerce roadmaps

Integration Strategy

• Design and implement integrations with internal and third-party systems
• Ensure seamless data flow, security, and automation across systems
• Lead multiple integration projects across enterprise environments

Technical Leadership & Development

• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality development output
• Provide hands-on development support using Java and enterprise web technologies
• Mentor development teams and guide technical decision-making

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Provide expert consultation on SAP Commerce platform capabilities and customization strategies
• Identify risks, recommend improvements, and guide future enhancements

• 10+ years of experience as a Solution/Technical Architect in eCommerce platforms
• Strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), including version 2211+
• Experience with SAP Spartacus storefront framework
• Proven experience in designing and implementing multi-channel B2C eCommerce architectures
• Strong background in integrating SAP Commerce with third-party systems (5 7+ projects)
• Hands-on development experience with Java Enterprise and web technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as **Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of backend systems, servers, and storage architecture

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other eCommerce platforms for comparative architecture insights
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices
• Experience in large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs
