Plateau is now accepting applications for a Professional Services Support Technician for our Clovis, NM Headquarters location., The Professional Services Support Technician receives incoming requests from internal end-users or professional services customers for technical assistance with a variety of applications. Duties include troubleshooting software and hardware issues; providing support over the phone via email, remote assistance, or in person; and supporting servers, including setup, backup/restore, patching, and monitoring. This position also monitors and maintains antivirus software, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Licensing, phone system, PC and peripheral purchasing and maintenance, and documentation, along with other various duties. Other responsibilities will also include network security administration, server administration, and other duties related to competencies associated with A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications.
Requirements
Minimum requirements for the position include knowledge of computers and peripherals, Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, MS Office, and other network software platforms. Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail, along with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, resolve, and document end-user requests, communicate professionally in written and oral form, and perform maintenance of activity logs are also required. The successful candidate will be able to handle all support situations professionally and courteously, work well in a fast-paced team environment, and ensure timely and thorough completion of assignments. The ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds and a valid driver's license with a clear 3-year driving record is also required.
The ideal candidate will have completed significant college-level coursework towards a computer-based or technical degree (bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred) or will possess at least two years of professional computer experience or industry-standard certifications. Desired qualifications include previous experience with networking, telephony, Linux, scripting, and supporting end-users. Certifications relating to A+, Network+, Security+, or similar are also highly desirable.
The normal schedule for this position will be 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday, but the ability to work a flexible schedule with some callout and overtime hours is required.
