Job description

As the IT Systems/MercuryGate Analyst you will be the architectural bridge between complex operational challenges and high-value technical solutions. You are tasked with leading the development of CJ's integrated transportation systems, ensuring that every process enhancement drives measurable value for our global stakeholders. By partnering closely with external consultants and diverse customer groups, you will proactively resolve system discrepancies and spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge technology that keeps our supply chain moving forward.   • Salary Range: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $67,000, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

What You'll Be Accountable For

System Implementation & Optimization: Configure, test, document, and implement the Mercury Gate Transportation Management System to facilitate efficient Transportation Operations.

Operational Intelligence & ROI: Analyze service, cost, processes, and productivity of new and existing business to recommend improvements determine impact and ROI and communicate to leaders.

Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Validate master data for accuracy and investigate errors to help determine how to improve future data quality.

Process Mapping & Stakeholder Support: Receive requests for new processes and map out future states, ensuring internal and external customers have what they need to execute daily business.

Strategic Vendor Management: Manage new and existing technology vendors to ensure alignment with customer needs identify deficiencies proactively and communicate recommended solutions to leaders.

Knowledge Leadership: Facilitate the training of transportation-related technology solutions and standardized processes.

Operational Readiness: Maintain the agility to be on call and work as part of a weekend rotation as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience Specialization in Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain Management is required.
  • 2+ years MercuryGate TMS super user experience is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office products is a must - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Technically oriented with the ability to produce and manage test plans.
  • Working knowledge of technical data structure such as EDI and XML Technical coding languages such as VBA, SQL, R, Python is preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% .
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is preferred.
