Job description
We are looking for a cloud DevOps lead for our analytics platform who will be responsible for ensuring the cloud infrastructure required for analysts is available 24/7.
The ideal candidate will work with the project manager to provide the vision for the entire analytics platform. This includes compute resources, data access, FOSS tools, and custom tools to include how they interact to form a cohesive, robust solution. You will direct the development, build, test, and deployment of highly complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
Expert-level understanding of general infrastructure architecture is required. Key responsibilities include oversight, coordination, planning, and security of all infrastructure including items for which you have no previous experience. Integral to this role is mentorship and building the skillsets required for team to success.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and plan work, ensuring on-schedule delivery of a quality product
- Mentor junior engineers
- Technical review for junior and senior engineers
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute business strategies and plans
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and requirements
Requirements
- This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship
- 10+ years of related work experience building and maintaining compute infrastructure
- 5+ years of cloud experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- 5+ years managing Oracle DB and Oracle enterprise manager deployments
- RHEL
- Security hardening and security maintenance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in the team using scaled agile development process
- Strong Communication, Adaptability, Decision Making, Customer Focus, Integrated Systems, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee., This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Summary Pay Range: $176,800 - $239,200
