Job description
As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects-you're orchestrating breakthroughs in support of improving application operation efficiency and enhancing equipment reliability and uptime. (This involves streamlining workflows, implementing predictive maintenance technologies, and leveraging datadriven insights to optimize tool performance and minimize downtime.)You'll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution, blending your technical expertise with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, as you will own technical programs from initiation through delivery, using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budgets. What you'll do
- Manage projects to solve complex business problems.
- Build solutions that will improve business processes and support critical business strategies.
- Provide actionable insights for management to support decision-making through data collection and analysis.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure execution, manage risks, and assure adherence to program or project schedules and performance to meet business requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.
- Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.
Some, but not all, projects this Project Program Manager will be responsible for are as follows:
- Calibration custodian for the Applications Lab (SupplyPro Administrator).
- Work with the calibration vendor to send/receive equipment and track all hardware.
- Work with GIS to schedule lab computer security patches.
- Work with vendors to keep free stock supplied to the lab.
- Subject matter expert for Lab360 (Service Request).
- Utilize Power BI to run Applications Lab reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years of related experience with a master's degree; or a PhD with no experience; or equivalent work experience., * Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
