Azure DevOps Engineer

A client is looking for a Subject Matter Expert to help implement and integrate Azure DevOps (ADO).

• ADO is used for Azure DevOpsprovides an integrated set of services and tools to manage your software projects, from planning and development through testing and deployment.
• Azure DevOps and Jira are two popular project management tools for DevOps teams, and althoughthe two share some similar features, they have different core aims and use cases.
• They need to be knowledgeable on How ADO works and the best practices.
• The team will be sunsetting their use of Jira and using ADO moving forward so this person will help implement the tool and integrate it with other technologies.
• They will serve as the Subject Matter Expert with the ADO tool.
• They will be integrating ADO with ServiceNow and may integrate with other tools in the future.

• Expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience implementing ADO into an environment
• Ability to learn things on their own (like new technologies or how to work with elements of this tool)
• Ability to adapt as things change with this project

Plus:

• Experience integrating ADO with ServiceNow
• Experience working at Microsoft (having 1st hand knowledge of ADO)
• Technical background to speak with developers
• Experience at AT&T to know their environment
• SQL scripting
• Experience migrating boards to ADO from Jira. Also migrating Pipelines and Repositories.
