Job description
- Manage and execute IT and integrated audit engagements, focusing on core infrastructure, trade systems, critical applications, and general IT controls, with support from audit staff
- Cultivate strong working relationships with key stakeholders, fostering engagement and providing actionable insights
- Gain and maintain a deep understanding of technology operations, business units, and supporting functions
- Assist leadership with audit planning, defining scope, evaluating controls, documenting findings, and tracking remediation efforts
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes and strengthening the control environment across the organization
- Participate in the annual risk assessment and assist with the development of the departmental audit plan
- Support administrative and operational projects within the IT audit department
- Provide guidance and mentorship to IT audit staff throughout engagements
- Analyze and report on audit results, ensuring recommendations are clear and actionable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT risks and control gaps are effectively addressed
Requirements
- 12+ years of IT audit experience
- Exposure to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, equities trading, and fixed-income trading or operations
- Knowledge and experience of core IT infrastructure platforms, cybersecurity, cloud technology, networks, firewall, and/or data analytics
- Extensive knowledge of the audit lifecycle and the evaluation of IT general controls and IT automated controls
- Strong analytical and reporting skills and effective relationship-building experience
- Effective communication skills
