Identity & Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Identity & Security Engineer to join our team and lead efforts around identity and access management, network security, and emerging threat mitigation. This is a hands-on technical role that requires strong independent judgment, excellent communication, and deep experience with modern identity federation and infrastructure security tools., Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions using PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess

Monitor new and emerging security threats from various sources and assist in creating product detection mechanisms

Manage and troubleshoot containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

Implement and maintain security technologies including L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, DDoS mitigation, and VPN/VoIP security

Perform network trace analysis and troubleshooting to ensure the highest levels of system assurance

Support wireless security, traffic profiling, anomaly detection, and penetration testing initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining strong documentation and communication practices

5-8 years of hands-on experience in identity management and/or security engineering

Proven hands-on experience with PingFederate (PingFed, PingID, PingAccess)

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container technologies

Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

2-5 years of security implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HYPR, Affirm, or passwordless authentication technologies

Familiarity with spyware/malcode tools and wireless security protocols

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a self-starter mindset
