Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
  • 3+ years of experience in developing software using Object Oriented principle
  • Develop solutions using Ada, C#, C, C++, Python or Fortran
  • Experience with Git or a similar version control system
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principals and practices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience developing and tracing software requirements

Benefits & conditions

$60/hr to $66/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education., Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. About the company

Insight Global is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer to support one of our large DoD customers in the St. Louis area. This role is onsite 5 days per week. This individual will support Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM-ER, Harpoon legacy and development weapons) deployed on a range of military aircraft and select ground platforms. They will work with a multi-discipline engineering team to design and develop software solutions for these platforms. Engineers on this team work in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
