Job description
- The ideal candidate will have experience with planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
- Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- May ensure that appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
- May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
- Assist the development of system IA documentation.
Requirements
Required:
- Minimum seven years of experience required.
- At least four of those years of experience must have included secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms.
- At least three years of experience must have included military C6ISR systems.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited or NCAE designated institution OR hold the following certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Federal IT Security Professional-Designer-NG (FITSP-D)
GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret Clearance (SCI) required, interim TS acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
