Requirements

  • Education: BA or BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or educational equivalent\n
  • Experience: 5+ years in establishing system information requirements, designing architecture - including software, hardware and communications - to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces, evaluating problems of workflows and organization, and developing appropriate corrective actions.\n
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint).\n
  • Communication: Strong written/verbal skills for technical documentation and presentations.\n
  • Work Style: Ability to manage multiple tasks in an agile, dynamic environment.\n, * Experience with systems engineering and enterprise architecture for high assurance communications systems.\n
  • Background in NC3 architecture/performance analysis and engineering design.\n
  • Knowledge of National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) or Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communications Systems (SLC3S).\n, Experience collaborating with NC3 stakeholders including Air Force, Navy, NC3 Enterprise Center, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, and OSD.\n

Apply today!\n \n \nPrimary Responsibilities\n \n \n

  • Change Management and Configuration Control Development: Advise and assist the Government in developing the Change Management (CM) and Configuration Control (CC) NEC Directive, including authoritative criteria and standards for NC3 Configuration Items (CIs).\n

  • Analysis and Reporting for Configuration Control Boards: Produce analysis reports for the NC3 Enterprise Change Advisory Panel by attending Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and configuration management groups. Review NC3 Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Operational Certification Packages (OCPs), and associated artifacts to provide actionable insights and recommendations.\n

  • Digital Engineering Strategy Execution: Develop and execute the digital engineering strategy for the NC3 Enterprise Configuration Management in coordination with NEC divisions. Ensure the strategy includes automated workflows, federated data frameworks, and tools to support digital transformation.\n

  • Continuous Improvement Recommendations: Advise the Government on continuous improvement recommendations to the Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluating the merits of new or enhanced NC3 capabilities. Provide insights to refine processes and improve the evaluation framework for system upgrades and enhancements.\n
  • Development of Acceptance Criteria: Advise and assist the Government in developing acceptance criteria constructs, including detailed checklists, for the review of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and OCPs.\n

  • Configuration Management Plan and Baseline Maintenance: Maintain the NC3 Configuration Management Plan and the NC3 Configuration Management Baseline to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and operational requirements.\n
