Job description
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will design and develop high-quality web applications, enhance enterprise product features, and contribute across the full SDLC. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and serve as a technical leader on key projects. - Participate in project planning, product maintenance, system enhancements, and rapid issue resolution.
- Mentor junior developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices.
- Serve as the primary development point of contact for one or more projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established development and documentation standards.
- Provide timely technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, version notes, and user guides.
- Communicate effectively across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Travel occasionally (up to 25%) based on business and client needs., Individuals working for DSS or any Subsidiary will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. (Authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.)
- Must be able to pass a Federal background check
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment., * Must have proficient experience in professional software development
- Hands-on experience developing web applications
- Strong proficiency with:
- HTML5
- JavaScript
- CSS
- C#
- .NET
- Delphi
- SQL Server
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing or developing EHR or healthcare software
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and remove barriers to progress
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related field
Certifications: (Preferred)
- MCSD or equivalent advanced certifications in Web or Mobile Application Development
- Other relevant software engineering certifications
Years of experience in a similar role:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications, Communications, oral, written and visual
Up to 90% of time.

Salary at DSS Inc is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $130,000.00 (annualized USD).
