Requirements

Application development as a software engineer.
-
Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
-
Migration experience.
-
Testing experience.
-
Knowledge of object-oriented design.
-
Development experience with one or more of: COBOL, SAS, or other open-system languages.
-
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
-
Experience with Snowflake environment tools like Elevate, Switchboard, and DBT (preferred).
-
ETL experience (preferred).
-
sFTP file movement experience (preferred).
-
Understanding of basic networking and firewall concepts.
-
Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git or GitHub.

Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
-
Familiarity with security best practices for software development.
-
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
-
Card processing solutions such as TSYS or Mastercard (preferred).
-
Quality assurance experience (preferred).
-
SAS knowledge beyond basics (preferred).
-
Switchboard, DBT, or Snowflake experience (preferred).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
