Job description
- Lead customer-driven technical innovation in life sciences through customer intimacy and project experience
- Understand our unique value proposition and prescribe solutions that anticipate customer needs, processes, and technical challenges. Own customer specific solutions for the lifetime of that solution and lead discussions around new feature development of existing solutions, including co-ordination of documentation and guiding test qualification etc...
- Develop, adapt, and communicate reference designs and engineering standards
- Determine the technical offer specifications & author technical strategy documents
- Understand all relevant legislation and building codes that influence the solution decision choices alongside any required certifications
- Support local teams and/or EcoXpert's with initial design support
- Support the Life Sciences Segment Offer Manager in technical negotiations with Business Units/Lines of Business
- Become the segment market leader and provide real market information to enable the Strategic Account Sales Executives and Key Account Managers to win business
- Coordinate training for Segment Solutions in the Launch phase
- Establish the "Thought Leadership" position in the market and build credibility with customers
- Network and collaborate with global segment teams to enhance Schneider Electric's solutions
- Promote cohesiveness and collaboration within the Solutions Architects community to leverage each other's experiences with customer success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or mechanical engineering or work experience equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in life science segment turnkey projects
- Comfortable in a technical sales support role
- Working knowledge of Building Management and/or Power Distribution systems
- Experience with third party integration based on open and proprietary protocols
- Strong public speaking capability and experience
- Ability to write technical documents and specifications
- Ability to be confident in front of all types of stakeholders (IT, Clinical, C-Level, Security, Facility)
- Customer centric from practical project/sales experience
Benefits & conditions
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $150,000 - $166,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
