Job description

Teradyne is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Memory Test division, supporting advanced semiconductor test systems. In this role, you will contribute to the security, reliability, and automation of complex software and hardware-integrated test platforms. You will play a key role in product security initiatives while also owning CI/CD infrastructure, test automation, and build systems that support mission-critical test equipment.

  • Lead product security activities across the software lifecycle for complex, hardware-integrated semiconductor test systems
  • Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure, and regression test frameworks
  • Implement and operate security tooling (SAST, SCA, vulnerability scanning) to identify and mitigate software and system risks
  • Develop automation tools to support software builds, testing, OS hardening, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams to strengthen product security posture and delivery quality

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or product/application security.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, with experience supporting complex, hardware-integrated systemsHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and security tooling (SAST, SCA, vulnerability scanning)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams.

Benefits & conditions

The base salary range for this role is $142,600 - $228,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
