Job description
A well-established private company, recognized for its operational efficiency and multi-site warehouse network, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager with a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on operational leadership. The successful candidate will drive operational performance, team development, and continuous improvement across all locations. The role is primarily based at our Vermont facility, with weekly travel to our Canadian sites (passport required). On-site support is in place at Canadian locations., * Provide strategic and hands-on oversight across multiple warehouses, conducting regular site visits to ensure operational consistency, process alignment, and performance follow-through.
- Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams (coordination, supervision, frontline employees).
- Foster a collaborative work environment and a culture focused on performance and accountability.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean principles, digitalization, and automation to standardize workflows, reduce costs, and drive operational efficiency.
- Define and monitor KPIs across key operational metrics (inventory accuracy, throughput, compliance), identify gaps, and drive timely corrective actions at both the strategic and floor level.
- Collaborate with senior management to define operational priorities and performance objectives.
- Contribute to workforce, equipment, and logistics planning.
- Prepare regular analytical reports to support informed decision-making.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehouse logistics management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Significant experience in operations management, logistics, or warehouse environments.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in inventory management, logistics, transportation, and multi-site operations.
- High level of comfort with computerized systems (ERP, inventory management systems, analytical tools).
- Strong, motivating leadership style with the ability to positively influence teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Clear communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a high degree of autonomy.
Education & Experience
- Degree in management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an operational management role.
- Experience in a multi-site environment or within a growing organization is a strong asset., * Bachelor's (Required)
