Senior Managing SAP TM Lead

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM TM, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management (SCM) Transportation Management (TM) solutions for clients. Your expertise will help clients optimize their supply chain operations, improve logistics efficiency, and reduce costs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Implement Solutions: Design and implement SAP S/4HANA TM solutions that meet clients' business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop tailored solutions that drive value and efficiency.
• Provide Training and Support: Deliver training and support to clients to ensure a smooth transition to new SAP S/4HANA TM solutions, enabling them to maximize the benefits of the implemented technology.
• Optimize Supply Chain Operations: Help clients optimize their supply chain operations, improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs through effective use of SAP S/4HANA TM solutions., End-to-End Transportation Management Processes - at least 4 end to end full cycle implementations
• Deep expertise across the full end-to-end SAP TM process, including:
• Order Management
• Transportation Planning
• Execution & Subcontracting (Tendering)
• Charge Management & Freight Settlement
• Capability to design, implement, and optimize TM solutions across the complete transportation lifecycle.

SAP TM Master Data Expertise

• Advanced knowledge of SAP TM master data, including but not limited to:
• Locations (business partners, shipping points, plants, hubs, ports, airports)
• Transportation Lanes and Transportation Zones
• Resources and Schedules
• Default Routes
• Products
• Rates and Freight Agreements
• Carriers
• Experience defining master data governance and ensuring data quality for scalable TM solutions.

Leadership & Consulting Expectations (Senior Managing Level)

• Ability to lead SAP TM solution design and delivery in complex, global transportation environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for clients on SAP TM strategy and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior consultants on SAP TM functional and process topics.
• Strong communication skills to translate TM concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Demonstrated expert-level understanding of SAP Transportation Management (TM) concepts, including Freight Units and their role as the foundational document for transportation planning and execution.
• Proven experience creating Freight Units from multiple preceding logistics documents, including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, and Deliveries.

SAP TM Deployment & Architecture

• Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of SAP TM deployment options, including:
• Embedded TM in S/4HANA
• Side-by-Side (Standalone / Sidecar) TM
• Ability to assess, recommend, and lead the appropriate deployment model based on client landscape and business requirements., Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management (SCM) Transportation Management (TM) solutions, including configuration and implementation.
• Industry-Specific Expertise: Experience working with clients in various industries to optimize supply chain operations and improve logistics efficiency using SAP S/4HANA TM solutions.
• Complex Solution Design: Ability to design and implement complex SAP S/4HANA TM solutions that meet clients' unique business requirements and integrate with existing systems and processes.
