Job description
- Provide technical support and programmatic assistance, including lifecycle logistics for cradle-to-grave development and sustainment.
- Support systems engineering, architecture development, decision making, integrated logistics planning and execution, acquisition assistance (contracting, finance, scheduling), and overall product support throughout the acquisition lifecycle (design, development, test, production, sustainment improvement modifications, system disposition).
- Develop and deliver draft product support requirements documents to incorporate product support considerations into system acquisitions.
- Refine product support requirements by collaborating with Government cross-functional teams to develop assumptions, and to capture and analyze data.
- Provide guidance and conduct assessments to support informed decisions on product support elements and adherence to statutory and regulatory directives.
- Implement and manage support functions for fielding and maintaining readiness and operational capability of weapons systems, subsystems, and components.
- Oversee product support functions for fielded systems.
- Understand and execute the twelve Product Support Elements (PSEs).
- Manage military airlift cargo using the government transportation network and billing process.
- Possess knowledge of Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS) and Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System (DEAMS).
- Support various space systems including Development Security Operations (DevSecOps), rapid prototyping, and rapid fielding.
- Provide skilled personnel to develop and maintain technical order management and maintenance activities (TOMA).
- Assist in developing new technical order strategies to align with government system acquisition strategies.
- Manage technical order activities including Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statement (PWS) participation; acquisition of technical orders; management of technical order in-process reviews, working group meetings, and validation/verification events and schedules., This position does not supervise the work of others.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree is required.
- Three to 10 years' experience in this type of position or program is required.
- Requires experience with establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies and identifying required infrastructures, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities.
- Requires experience with integrating system engineering quantitative design characteristics (reliability, maintainability, etc.) with the functional logistics/integrated product support elements to identify product support resources.
- Requires experience with integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding., Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
Benefits & conditions
BTAS adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
SALARY RANGE: $87,000-$160,000
